Party Party Party
I know, with a heading like that, what do you expect. But I do have to tell you what last night held for me. I was invited to a party from 2 of my friends that live here. I debated on if I really needed to go with all the time that I needed to spend in the classroom. But, at the last minute, I decided sure why not!!
The night was great, I saw a bunch of old friends that were now stationed here or going to school here. To include one set of friends that are now pregnant. It was a great night. The best part of it was the next door neighbor......
This guy was invited to the party; he was approximately 50 years old, gray beard and stood about 5' 8". He was wearing knee high socks, shorts, t-shirt and a hunter orange hat. Looked just like you would expect from someone here in North Carolina. There was a heavy metal band that was really good but after 3 songs it all started sounded the same. Well, as the night went on, this guy (we shall call him Bobby) was headbanging to the music, drinking a lot of beer and starting to get feisty. There were about 100 people there at the party and this guy decided to start talking to one of the females that was there. I guess he was getting no where and turned to one of the owners of the house and said that he was heading home soon.
As he was beginning to head home, he walked back through the house between everyone and out the front door. The only problem was, he was only wearing gray boxer briefs!!!!! Everyone was yelling and cheering him on as he posed on the way out to the front door. Next thing I saw was one of the owners of the house come screaming through asking "Have you seen a naked old man?" ha ha ha Everyone pointed out the door and the owner said "He told me he was going to do it but I did not believe it!!" It was really the highlight of the night.
I went home about 2 hours later once they ran out of alcohol. Then today, I just spent the entire time in the classroom. Another weekend down and a lot more to go. I have now moved into an apartment. It is a hell of a lot better here than in the hotel. I have everything paid for and it is $2.00 cheaper a day then the hotel. My darling wife has called me everyday saying "You have another HOME!!!" But honestly, that hotel was killing me and it is nice to have a balcony. Until next time...................

Sounds like fun....at least you are enjoying life in F***********, somebody has to, right?
